The use of myofascial therapy allows Dr. Lindz to look at each patient as a unique individual. There is not a “one size fits all” approach. Her therapy sessions are safe, gentle and consistently effective in producing results that last. Dr. Lindz uses this hands-on approach by applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
Dr. Lindz specializes in a variety of healing techniques:
- Fascial Distortion Model:
FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) is called a ‘model’ because it is not a specific technique. It is a hands-on treatment model in which most soft-tissue injuries, or musculoskeletal complaints, are viewed through one or more of the six different types of alterations to the body’s connective tissues. The results are objective, obvious, measurable, and immediate.
- Pin and Stretch:
A technique uses dynamic muscle lengthening movement to break up soft tissue adhesions.
- RockTape Functional Movement Taping (Level I & II Certified)
- Graston (Level 1 Certified)
- Various other manual therapy and myofascial release techniques
